This route is on urban trails, bike lanes and low traffic urban streets. The route will skirt the edge of both downtown St Paul and Minneapolis using the Pelham Cycle Path, West River Parkway, the Dinkytown Greenway, the University of Minnesota Transitway, the Como Avenue Cycle Path, the West Wheelock Parkway Cycle Path, the Gateway State Trail, the Keller Creek Trail, the Lake Phalen Bike Path, the Bruce Vento Regional Trail, the Johnson Parkway Regional Trail, the Sam Morgan Regional Trail, Crosby Farm Road, and South Mississippi River Boulevard.
There will be a short rest stop just south of the intersection of the Gateway State Trail and the Keller Creek Trail, neae Round Lank at about mile 16(if needed). There will be a longer break at Little Brazil at about mile 24. Little Brazil has soda, coffee and snacks as well as a small assortment of groceries imported from Brazil.
Parking is in the lot on the south side of Myrtle St. across from the Brewery. DO NOT park in the lot on the north side of Myrtle which is directly behind the Brewery, that lot is for Residents only. Overflow parking is on Raymond Ave south of Myrtle St. The ride will start and end at the intersection of Raymon and Myrtle behind the Brewery’s outdoor space.
