This ride will average about 12 mph. This is a no-drop ride. 

This is a B/C social ride with a rest stop at the very excellent Two Scoops ice cream parlor in downtown Anoka.

Construction alert: There is currently construction on West River Road just south of the starting point. From the south the best way to get to the starting point is from the intersection of Noble Parkway and 97th Ave N. (This is just north of Hwy 610). Head east on 97th to Russell Ave and turn left. About .7 mi to the park entrance.

The route starts at the Mississippi Gateway Regional Park (formerly Coon Rapids Dam West). We follow the flat Rush Creek Trail  to Elm Creek Park (hilly). We will exit the park at the northeast corner and follow quiet streets and paths to Anoka. The rest stop is at Two Scoops. Finally we will follow the mostly flat MRT through Coon Rapids (on nice quiet streets) to Coon Rapids Dam (East). After a couple of small scenic loops on both sides of the river, we end up where we started.
