I won't be leading the rest of the year. I tore 2  rotator cuffs and they need surgery.

Jim and Katie Angle, Edward Eroe, Sept 28, Linda Johnson and Bob Mackie have graciously offered to share leading the ride the rest of the year,

So the ride could be led by anyone of them.  so the ride is in good hands.

There have been a couple of changes to the routes on 7-13-2023. Please update your gps device.

It is 45 miles long and avoids one of the difficult crossings of I35 and several other minor changes.

 And a 45 mile route option:   https://ridewithgps.com/routes/43658217  This route does not use Eureka and riders choice of stopping at Kwik trip or Dunn Brothers at Festival, but you will have to return on Main St and have the difficult crossing of I35.  Or you could bypass the Dunn stop and then go east on 170th St (at the roundabout) and then south on 20th St as the 48 mile route does.

This classic ride is rather flat, smooth, scenic, with miles between most stops.

NO 37 mile route due to impending road consturction. the 45 mile route will use Rondeau Lake as a detour.

There are several places to stop along each of the routes.

There are Restrooms at ride start and along the way

Several excellent places to eat after the ride.

An excellent cue sheet and map will help self-sufficient faster and slower riders find their way.

Easy miles generally, depending on the wind.

FYI - As your leader, I will be riding at B-Pace and may ride any of the routes. Many riders will be averaging 15MPH or more, but I always strive to add another leader for the faster paced riders.

Please note: Although I don't make a practice of canceling, this ride may be canceled for cold, rain, snow or extremely wet roads. I do ride in cold (down to 40F), but not on icy or snowy roads. If in doubt about cancellation, please contact leader.
