Join us for the Tour de Tonka, one of Minnesota’s finest rides.

In just over a decade’s time, the annual Tour de Tonka bike ride has become a staple of the west metro community, growing from 819 riders in 2006 to nearly 3,500 riders annually. Riders from more than 166 different Minnesota communities and 42 states participated in the event last year.

This is a ride for all riders and levels!  You can choose from eight distances: 16, 30, 36, 48, 57, 62, 71 or 100 miles. Tour de Tonka’s routes move through 24 different west metro communities including Chanhassen, Chaska, Deephaven, Delano, Eden Prairie, Excelsior,\ Greenwood, Independence, Mayer, Minnetonka, Minnetrista, Mound, Navarre, New Germany, Norwood Young America, Orono, Plymouth, Shorewood, Spring Park, Tonka Bay, Victoria, Waconia, Watertown and Wayzata– all of which showcase beautiful roads, trails, and scenic views of Lake Minnetonka, Lake Waconia, Riley Lake, the Crow River, and many other area lakes.  The rides leave in a mass start within minutes of each other, adding to a high level of excitement for this major event.

All ride distances are fully supported ride with maps and SAG support. There are several rest stops along the way, where riders will enjoy food, hydration stations, music, rest and conversation.

Register early and save on your registration fee. Early Bird registration March 1-April 30 PLUS TCBC discount code 12TCBC which gets you an additional $5.00 OFF!

If you have any issues when registering as well as any specific questions about the ride,  you can contact Tour de Tonka directly at: (952) 401-6800.

During the week of the event, watch the ride calendar and the Meetup group to coordinate groups if you would like to ride with fellow TCBC members.

Note that as an Outreach Ride, there is no TCBC/LAB insurance coverage on this ride. However, TCBC members do get the mileage credit. Please email Tom, Zee or Chuck with TCBC member # and miles completed.
