Group riding protocols

  • Rides are for members only.  Make sure your membership is current.
  • If you are not feeling well or have a temperature, do not come to a club ride.
  • Masks are recommended but not required at the ride start and rest stops.  Masks will be needed, though, if you plan on entering businesses at the rest stops.
  • Social distancing is recommended at the ride start and rest stops.
  • Riders should choose how closely they ride by or behind others.
  • Be respectful of others space at all times.
  • Come prepared to be self-sufficient with food and drink.
  • Be prepared to fix your own mechanical problems/flats.
  • Read the leaders ride description carefully for additional requirements on their ride.
  • Check the schedule for new ride postings and this website often for other updates.
  • The Board reserves the right to suspend or delay the return to group riding based on the current status of the epidemic and local health guidelines.

This site is provided as a service to members of the Twin Cities Bicycling Club. All data displayed is the result of efforts of many volunteers.

TCBC members must check in at the beginning of each ride in order to be covered by the Club’s medical and liability insurance and to be counted as a participant in that ride.

Optional online ride registration now available - you must still attend the ride briefing and check in at the ride start for insurance and mileage credit.

If you see a discrepancy in your mileage, please contact the leader of the ride in question. If the ride leader determines that an error has been made, they should contact the RideStats administrator for the correction.

If you have questions please contact the club administrator: ridestats@biketcbc.org
