Global Fat Bike Day
Since 2012, the first Saturday in December has been designated as “Global Fat Bike Day”. There will be fat bike rides all over the world. My version will be in Como Park and Reservoir Woods. I will have two routes, with two leaders. The easier 13-mile route avoids most of the difficult hills and technically challenging trail sections and is a better choice for beginning and intermediate fat bikers. The more difficult 17-mile route will be much hillier and more technically challenging and would be the appropriate choice for advanced fat bikers. You will have the option of doing multiple laps in reservoir woods if you want more miles.
There are no planned rest stops but we will regroup after each trail section or as needed to keep the groups together. Please carry enough water and snacks to get your through the ride of your choice.

The ride briefing will be in the grassy area between the pavilion and the Hamm Memorial waterfall.
Park your car in the parking lot on the south side of the pavilion. If that lot is full, there is a parking lot on the north side of the pavilion. Satellite restrooms are available on the north side of the pavilion. The route starts on the bike trail on the south side of the pavilion.
After the ride, please consider joining me for a post ride beer and lunch at the Dock and Paddle.
