New Start Location:   The halloween picnic is outdoors this year at the Como Park Picnic Shelter due to ongoing Covid concerns.  Driving directions are below.

Join us for the annual TCBC Halloween ride! Costumes are suggested but not required, though need to be safe for riding a bicycle. The ride starts at 11am October 30th at the Como Park Picnic Shelter parking lot on Midway Ave. (See Directions Below)  The lunch will be at the Como Park Picnic Shelter.  There are satellite restrooms near the picnic shelter. 

We will head through St Paul and have a rest stop with the C, B/C, B groups all meeting at the Erik’s in Highland where Erik’s is graciously providing treats and costume judging with prizes. Photos of the winners will be in the newsletter - so look your best! While we're at Erik's, be sure to thank them for their support and generosity to TCBC. The routes then continue to West River Rd and eventually ending back at Como for socializing and a box lunch with beverages from Nelson’s Deli.

Arrive early to prepare for riding and allow time to admire all the creative costumes.

PLEASE pre-register EARLY so an accurate number of box lunches can be ordered. Please download the RidewithGPS route for your level and/or cue sheet. Ride leaders will also have map/cue sheets available. Ride will take place rain or shine, though may be shortened due to weather.

DIRECTIONS TO RIDE START/PICNIC SHELTER PARKING LOT:

If you use Google Maps:  type Como Park Picnic Shelter  in the search box, it should take you to the correct parking lot within Como Park.

If you come to Como Park via Hamline Avenue:  From Hamlin head East on Midway Ave, the parking lot will be on the right just past Como Town and before Estabrook Dr.

If you come to Como Park via Lexington Avenue:  From Lexington head West on Como Ave, turn right on Midway Ave. The lot will be on the Left just  past Estabrook Dr. and before Como Town.
